Street Mercy

In a first encounter with Mustafa Visile, we found him throwing up behind a car. He told us that he was Street Mercy Logo purplesick from eating too much ice cream. That was not the case. He was sick due to drugs. His father moved abroad to work. He was left with his grandmother, but in conflict with her he moved to the streets. He dreams of his own family someday. It’s our hope that a little mercy shown will start him on the path to that reality. Without mercy that dream will never come a reality.

In partnership with people of local churches Street Mercy seeks to meet a real need and create a point of contact for building an on-going, trusting relationship in order that the love of God is real to those who need it most.  If you have a place in your heart for people, then the people of streets desparately need someone like you to take their hand.

Would you show mercy by providing meals today? Whatever mercy you can share will help - Mercy Triumphs!   To provide meals click HERE!

In response to the needs of the growing population of homeless people living on the streets in our field countries, Mission Without Borders, in its 52nd year of ministry, chose to widen the scope of its ”help ministry”

to the poor by establishing StreetMercy in 2012.  This newly-started project aims to provide warm, hearty meals and exemplify Christ’s love to society’s “outcasts.”  Two food stations are now operating in the city center of Sofia in Bulgaria, and the third one was opened in Craiova, Romania.  A further project will open in Chisinau, Moldova, (Europe’s poorest nation) in late 2012. At these locations, those living on the streets may come and receive their daily meals  - experiencing an initial expression of mercy.
