In order for the truth to set people free people, they need to have it.  Poor, neglected and abandoned people most often have no access to - or money for - a Bible.  As readily available the Bible may be, yet there are millions of people who are endeavoring to live on bread alone.  They live each day without the bread of life.  They are missing the truth that brings life and nourishment to their hearts (spirit).

We are thrilled and committed to provide one million Bibles to those who really need it.  It is a task foundational to God’s call for us. Yes, we provide food, clothing, education and other types of support to the poor, yet we understand Jesus’ words – “man does not live on bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Many people believe there is no great need or urgency to provide Bibles to Eastern Europe and China because it now possible to print and acquire Bible in these countries. However, availability does not mean that the lost, the lonely, the disenfranchised in these countries have their own Bible. To learn what pastors are saying about the need click here.

Providing a million Bibles is a huge challenge, a task requiring faith that God will provide. Our strategy is three-fold: 1) we will focus the distribution through three main channels – local churches (click here), partnering parachurch organizations, and school and educational systems with whom we have an established working relationship; 2) follow up according to each target group and each local church’s resources, recipients will be encouraged and supported with visitations, Alpha groups, correspondence course and special school teachings;  3) we will look to churches, small groups, families, individuals or businesses with heart for sharing God’s Word to partner with us and provide financial resources to have the Bibles printed where possible in each country.
