The Cobalschi Family (Moldova) Ion and Maria have 5 children; Lilea is 20 and attends vocational school, Maria age 18 attends vocational school, Stela is in the 7th grade, Ion Jr. attends 1st grade, and Vladimir is age 7. The father works out of the country and Maria works as a cook. They live in a modest 3 room home heated by wood. There is no indoor bathroom and the floors are concrete. Stela has sinus problems and surgery is needed. The family dreams of starting a small pig farm to help produce income. 
Sadikja Family- (Albania) Flamur and Burbuqe have 2 young sons; the eldest Nikolin attends 8th grade and Erxhen is in the 4th grade. They live in an old apartment near the beach in Albania. Flamur earns about 3.70 usd a day, not enough to provide for his family. Like most they dream that their children will be educated for a better future.
