Albanias second city gives thanks to MWB


Mayor of Durres awards MWB with certificate of appreciation following centenary anniversary of Albania's independence.

Durres Appreciation Certificate To MWBIn commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Albania's independence, MWB's team in Albania received an award of appreciation (pictured right). Durres City Council conferred awards to seven local organisations in memory of Albania's independence flag-raising day of 1912, at the end of November.

Durres' mayor, Vangjush Dakoaward, gave the award to MWB to express the "gratitude of the city." The certificate he presented to MWB Albania country manager, Monika Qerimi, states:

"This gratitude is awarded to Mission without Borders with this purpose:
For distinguished service to the City of Durres in assistance to communities and groups in need; for great contributions in the fields of education and health during the years 1992-2012."
